What Frexion does

We build the claim and chase it. You sign it.

Frexion is the back office for freight loss and damage claims, for businesses that ship and don't have a claims desk. We do the building and the chasing. The claim stays yours, filed under your name, from your address.

Build, then chase.

A claim moves through two stages. Frexion works both, and can pick it up at whichever one you're stuck on.

Stage 1

Build the claim

Before a claim is filed, it has to be built right. We pull the documents, apply the terms that govern the shipment, calculate the documented loss, and assemble a packet that meets the federal sufficiency test.

If your claim isn't filed yet, this is where Frexion starts.

Stage 2

Chase the claim

Once it's filed under your name, the clock starts. We track it, follow up on a set cadence, and keep it moving toward a decision. No claim sits quiet on our watch.

If a claim's already filed and stalled, this is where Frexion picks it up.

You sign and file. Every claim is asserted under your name, from your address. Frexion builds and computes. You review every figure before it goes out, and you assert it. The claim is always yours.

What a built claim contains.

"Built right" isn't a figure of speech. A claim the rules recognize has to clear a specific bar.

49 CFR § 370.3The sufficiency test

A claim only counts when it does three things: identifies the shipment, asserts carrier liability, and claims a specific dollar amount. Miss one and the clock never starts. Frexion builds to all three.

DocumentationThe paper that proves it

Bill of lading, delivery receipt and any OS&D notations, photos, the invoice showing value, weight and freight class, and the released-value terms that set what's recoverable. We gather what's there and flag what's missing.

The clockDeadlines, tracked

The carrier owes acknowledgment in 30 days and a disposition in 120. Under the Carmack Amendment you have 9 months to file. Frexion tracks every one and won't let a filing window lapse quietly.

Where Frexion stops.

A back office has edges. These aren't gaps we're hiding. They're the line that keeps the claim yours and keeps Frexion out of your legal seat.

No legal advice

We don't tell you your rights or your legal strategy. For that you want a transportation attorney, and we can say when it's time to get one.

No negotiating your settlement

We don't haggle the number with the carrier on your behalf. We document what's owed and keep the claim moving. The asserting stays with you.

No deciding who's right

We don't adjudicate liability or rule on your claim. That's the carrier's call, and the courts' after that. Frexion moves the claim; it doesn't judge it.

How the handoff works.

Nothing to install, nothing for your team to learn. The lift on your side is small.

01

You hand it off

Send us the claim, or just the pile of documents behind it. One claim or a backlog.

02

Frexion builds or picks up the chase

We build it to the sufficiency standard if it's not filed, or take over the follow-up if it is.

03

You review and sign

Nothing goes out until you've seen it. It's filed under your name, from your address.

04

Frexion keeps it moving

We track the clock and follow up until there's a disposition, and report back to you plainly.

Not sure if your claim is one we can move?

Tell us what's stuck. We'll tell you plainly whether it's something Frexion can build or chase.
